Safety City on your phone

The same portal, one tap from your Home Screen: alarms and faults the moment they happen, what is due this month, report an issue, track the order. Nothing to find in a store. It installs from this page in about ten seconds.

Open the portal instead

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open this page in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow).
  3. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Alerts on an iPhone only work from the Home Screen version, so do this step before turning alerts on.

Android

  1. Open this page in Chrome.
  2. Tap Install the app above, or the ⋮ menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Tap Install.

Samsung Internet works the same way from its menu.

Computer

  1. Open this page in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or Install the app above.

It opens in its own window and stays in your dock or taskbar.

What it does

Everything a site needs, under your thumb

  • Alerts that reach you. A fire alarm or a fault shows up on the phone the moment it happens, with a one-tap acknowledge so on-call knows you have it.
  • What is due. The next inspections, permits, and cylinder checks for each site, and the same dates in your own calendar app.
  • Report an issue. A tracking number in seconds, and a page from on-call when it is an emergency.
  • Track the order. Status and the estimated completion date, updated as the work moves.
  • Works offline. Pages you have opened stay on the phone. Fire or danger? Call 911 first, always.
After installing

Turn alerts on, once per phone

  1. Open the app from your Home Screen and sign in with the code we email you.
  2. Go to Contacts and tap Enable push alerts on this device. Staff: Settings, then Get alerts on this phone.
  3. Allow notifications when the phone asks.

Text, email, and phone-call alerts keep working with or without the app. The app adds the push notification on top.

Is it in the App Store or Google Play? Not yet. The Home Screen version is the full app, and it updates itself. A store listing follows once the first customers are on it.
